The Court offers three types of classes:

    1. Monthly General Training – Do you want to be an electronic filer? If you are not a registered filer in another district, attorneys should attend this FREE training class, and complete the assigned testing materials. Attorneys who have attended training and are registered in another district may register with this Court without taking the class, but will be required to file test documents in the ECF System to ensure compatibility of equipment and proficiency in using the ECF System.

The training class is held once a month, covers both debtor and creditor filings, and lasts about 3.5 hours. In addition to becoming eligible to be an electronic filer, for attorneys, this course has been approved by the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Commission of Oklahoma for a maximum of 3.00 credit hours, of which 0.50 hours are credits covering professional responsibility, legal ethics, or legal malpractice prevention.

Support staff are also highly encouraged to attend. Not only does this course provide hands on electronic filing experience, but continuing education hours may also be earned. This seminar meets the requirements of the NALA Certifying Board for Paralegals for continuing legal education credit required to maintain the CP (Certified Paralegal) credential, and up to 3.00 credit hours are available for attending.

    1. One- on- One Training - This type of training is available by request only.  The training is designed to accommodate your schedule, and offer specific guidance on filing the types of pleadings and documents your practice requires you to file in CM/ECF. Attorneys and/or staff are welcome. Sessions will last no more than 2 hours and will be limited to 2 people. Continuing Education credit is NOT available for this training. Please call (918) 699-4072 for further information and to schedule.
