In order to file documents electronically and to receive e-mail notices of documents that are filed, attorneys must be registered, trained and certified by the court to file electronically. At the training session, attorneys and staff will be provided with an identification name and password that will allow access to the training system.
WE OFFER 3 CLE CREDITS FOR THIS TRAINING!
The ECF certification is a Three-step process.
STEP 1- Register
Register for a training session by signing up on-line at ECF Training. A registration form will be electronically mailed to you. Please bring this form to training. Or, you may print out and complete the following documents:
CM/ECF Attorney Registration Form A
CM/ECF Limited Use Registration Form B
After the above forms have been completed, mail the originals into the court, Attn: ECF Help Desk.
STEP 2 - Get Trained
Training will be held at the Tulsa clerks office. Slots will be filled on a first come first served basis by signing up on-line at ECF Training. Classes are usually 3 hours long and attorneys will receive 3 CLE credits for attendance.
We encourage the attorney and staff who will be responsible for filing documents on-line to attend a training session.
NOTE: If you have been trained and certified on a CM/ECF system, you do not have to attend training in Oklahoma Northern. (This option may not be offered if the attorney has a history of poor quality of practice on the system he is certified to use.) You will also be responsible for reading the Electronic Filing Administrative Procedures. Submit to the court your signed registration form; list 1-3 courts where you are CM/ECF certified; and a statement that you have read and understand the courts administrative procedures.
STEP 3 - Get Certified
Upon completion of the training class, you will be assigned homework, once you have filed your test documents, call the help desk at (918) 699-4072) to get certified.
