CLE Seminar November 7, 2019 presented by the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association

Friday, November 1, 2019

The Bankruptcy Court is publishing this notice on behalf of the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association.  The Court is not involved in this seminar.

The Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association will be presenting a two-hour CLE seminar on November 7, 2019.  This seminar takes place in conjunction with the OBA Annual Meeting which is being held at the Cox Convention Center at 1 Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City.  It will be from 2:00 to 4:00.  You do not need to register for the OBA Annual Meeting in order to attend our section’s program.  The CLE program is free to all members of the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section.  If someone is not a member of the section the cost for the 2-hour CLE program is only $25.  Not only will the $25 allow non-members to receive CLE credit but it will also pay for their Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section dues for next year.

Our topics and speakers will be:

Ethical Issues Posed by Electronic Social Media and the New Technology
resented by Judge Douglas Dodd, US Bankruptcy Judge from the Middle District of Louisiana

Attending this presentation will give you one hour of ethics credit.

2019 Small Business Amendments to Chapter 11
Presented by Mark Craige, Attorney at Crowe and Dunlevy

Those attending the seminar will also be able to register for a drawing.  The winner will have their registration fee to the Advanced Bankruptcy Seminar paid.

We hope you can join us for the program this year. You are not required to register ahead of time to attend this program.  Feel free to share this information with others who may not be members of the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section but might like to attend.
